Where is the Customer Service?

Have you ever walked into an establishment ready to spend money and never receive a HELLO or a SMILE and want to turn and walk right out. I have done this several times. Whether it's clothing, shoes, food, accessories, or coffee, I want to be acknowledged. I am not looking for over the top, cater me type customer service, but I am looking for a hello, smile, thank you, or have a good day. Customer service has a great impact on the customer returning. It let's me know you, who represent the company care about my presence.

Everyone has a bad day or two, but that shouldn't be displayed at work. There is the expression, Check your attitude at the front door or something like that, only that can be impossible because you are only human. Turning it off and on like a faucet can be impossible for many, but if you agree to take on a position that requires you to service the public then that is exactly what you should do. I try to avoid stores, restaurants, or any establishment that can't provide customer service of any kind.

How can an employee provide good customer service? Easy.
If you think it will be hard to say hello, smile, or say thank you, then stay home. Do all the customers and your employer a favor, don't bring your attitude to work. This can impact sales and may eventually lead to job lay offs.

Just say Hello or Thank You. It takes seconds and doesn't cost you anything.

SMILE. IT'S JUST THAT SIMPLE. A smile cost nothing, but can have a great impact. It leaves a great impression on the customer and keeps us coming back.

Many companies are lacking customer service and it needs to come back.

Today is a good day to write!

STAND STILL

So many days I wake up knowing what I need to do, but not motivated to do them. I sit and star at the wall and wonder what is my game plan for today, tomorrow, or my future. And the funny part about it is I will put together a game plan and put it on paper even and somewhere within the next couple of days or weeks something will happen and that game plan that I had will explode and is no more.
I'm stuck. What just happened? What do I do now?

And for several minutes several hours even I am caught up into myself and what should I do? Then I call on my Heavenly Father to remove me from this place in time that I am stock in. I talk to God and I listen to uplifting gospel music. I remember that God is with me always and he will never leave me. He is my source and provides me with all I need, with him I have peace and hope to accomplish more.
(Romans 15:13 (NIV) I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.)

I have a hard time being still and it never dawned on me until now that my plans seem to always blow up when I'm trying to busy myself with too many things, instead of staying focused on the thing(s) that the Spirit of God has lead me to do.

My lesson learned here is that when I find myself going down a path that causes me to be too busy, to stop, be still, and ask if I should be doing it and listen. LISTENING IS VERY IMPORTANT!

I serve a GREAT GOD! An AWESOME GOD!
(Philippians 4:13 (NIV) I can do all things through him who strengthens me.)

DOESN'T FIT RIGHT

Just because it says available in Tall sizes doesn't mean it's meant for you.

When purchasing tall pants from a store or online, it's not impossible to try the pants on and you have the length but in other areas, your hips, waist, inner thighs, they don't fit. I know from experience that I have bought a pair of pants or two and there was a gap and the pants didn't fit in the waist, hip, butt area, but I kept them. I didn't think I had a choice because the stores that sold tall clothing was very limited, but today is different. There are options. Few, but more than what there use to be.

My advice. Don't keep them! Return them! Exchange them! If it doesn't work for you it's got to GO. If you want to get it tailored because you just gotta have it, fine, but don't settle. I love Alloy's pants and Torrid's jeans. Not only do they have the length but I don't have the gap between my thighs. Torrid caters to plus size, so I think that is the reason why their jeans fit me so good, but they are not a tall girl store. They only carry two jeans style that come in tall. Alloy caters to average sizes, but they have a tall girl division with many options.

Skinny Jeans
Because tall girl clothing is limited alot of stores don't have a tall girl section. That makes it hard to try clothes on before you buy them. Which leads you to buying online.  Th downfall of this is you may have to return or exchange if it doesn't fit. Word of advice, give yourself time to try it on, return it, and exchange it. Unfortunately, that will not be the case all the time.

Bottom line is don't settle. In Clothes, In Length, In Life, In Anything. No exceptions!
You deserve the best.

Procrastination is THE ENEMY

 5 4 3 2 1....

We have all been there. Waiting til the last minute to finish a project or just getting it started. I am guilty of this. I would get started with the research but then find other things to distract me or I would start a new project and then two days before or even the day before the project is due I would get to it.

The downfall of procrastinating is that any plans that I had scheduled, I would have to cancel. But on a positive note I do some of my best work during that time. My mind is going a mile a minute and my heart is racing, and I can't sleep. I'm a creative person all around so whether I give myself enough time or I wait til the last minute isn't going to matter, but I wouldn't have to put my life on hold if I gave myself time to get it it done.

What about those projects that never get started. I'll get to it tomorrow. Tomorrow turns into the next day and the next day and so on and so on.....It starts with one assignment, then another, then it became my life that was put on the back burner. When will it ever stop?

Finally I had to take control. I refuse to let my life pass me by and put my life on hold any longer than I already have. My project today is my book. I have been putting this off for a very long time, but no more. No more I say! No more procrastinating.

THE TIME IS NOW. Don't wait til tomorrow to do what you can do today!

Writing Is fundamental

I love to write. It allows me to express myself. Writing allows me to be as expressive as I need to be or want to be. All it takes is me, my pad, and my pen. Whether I am writing just to get things off my chest or to tell a story, I love the way writing makes me feel. Now if I could just be consistent with it...

Express yourself the best way you know how......

Finally I have Arrived
