Today is a good day to write!

STAND STILL

So many days I wake up knowing what I need to do, but not motivated to do them. I sit and star at the wall and wonder what is my game plan for today, tomorrow, or my future. And the funny part about it is I will put together a game plan and put it on paper even and somewhere within the next couple of days or weeks something will happen and that game plan that I had will explode and is no more.
I'm stuck. What just happened? What do I do now?

And for several minutes several hours even I am caught up into myself and what should I do? Then I call on my Heavenly Father to remove me from this place in time that I am stock in. I talk to God and I listen to uplifting gospel music. I remember that God is with me always and he will never leave me. He is my source and provides me with all I need, with him I have peace and hope to accomplish more.
(Romans 15:13 (NIV) I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.)

I have a hard time being still and it never dawned on me until now that my plans seem to always blow up when I'm trying to busy myself with too many things, instead of staying focused on the thing(s) that the Spirit of God has lead me to do.

My lesson learned here is that when I find myself going down a path that causes me to be too busy, to stop, be still, and ask if I should be doing it and listen. LISTENING IS VERY IMPORTANT!

I serve a GREAT GOD! An AWESOME GOD!
(Philippians 4:13 (NIV) I can do all things through him who strengthens me.)

DOESN'T FIT RIGHT

Just because it says available in Tall sizes doesn't mean it's meant for you.

When purchasing tall pants from a store or online, it's not impossible to try the pants on and you have the length but in other areas, your hips, waist, inner thighs, they don't fit. I know from experience that I have bought a pair of pants or two and there was a gap and the pants didn't fit in the waist, hip, butt area, but I kept them. I didn't think I had a choice because the stores that sold tall clothing was very limited, but today is different. There are options. Few, but more than what there use to be.

My advice. Don't keep them! Return them! Exchange them! If it doesn't work for you it's got to GO. If you want to get it tailored because you just gotta have it, fine, but don't settle. I love Alloy's pants and Torrid's jeans. Not only do they have the length but I don't have the gap between my thighs. Torrid caters to plus size, so I think that is the reason why their jeans fit me so good, but they are not a tall girl store. They only carry two jeans style that come in tall. Alloy caters to average sizes, but they have a tall girl division with many options.

Skinny Jeans
Because tall girl clothing is limited alot of stores don't have a tall girl section. That makes it hard to try clothes on before you buy them. Which leads you to buying online.  Th downfall of this is you may have to return or exchange if it doesn't fit. Word of advice, give yourself time to try it on, return it, and exchange it. Unfortunately, that will not be the case all the time.

Bottom line is don't settle. In Clothes, In Length, In Life, In Anything. No exceptions!
You deserve the best.
